OFDR has conducted over 300 clinical trials in gastroenterology. Within the sub-specialty of gastroenterology, our interests include: heartburn, provocative meals, esophageal sensitivity, pH monitoring, erosive and non-erosive esophagitis (GERD), non-ulcer dyspepsia, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, pouchitis and Crohn's disease. Our motility laboratory utilizes Medtronic digitrappers and can perform pH-monitoring studies in 32 subjects simultaneously. We have conducted Phase I, II, III, IV and Rx to OTC switch studies. In addition to traditional case report forms, we have used electronic data entry, fax/scan monitoring, electronic patient diaries, and interactive voice response systems.
